The weather was beautiful today. Not too hot, not too buggy, just the right amount of a breeze. So a road trip was in order, so I picked up a friend and we drove an hour and were soon transported back to the past. We went to Upper Canada Village, Ontario, and that is were the medieval games were being held.
A bit of a battle with swords. The biggest struggle was trying to get back up off the ground as they both ended up in a heap.
Then of course was the horses and men in armor 🙂
All in all…a great day.

At work yesterday afternoon there were three young fox playing. I managed to get a photo with my cell, but I’m going to take my camera today. Hopefully I’ll get a few good shots. They were so cute!

It’s Zar’s 8th Birthday today. He’s a Borzoi, or some people know this breed as a Russian Wolfhound. Here we are hanging out at a local horse show.

In February I bit the bullet and bought a new horse. He is 2 years 5 months old now, and I called him Tonga. He’s a Percheron/Standardbred cross. We have a lot of training to do, and a lot of miles to go yet. Here he is standing in the paddock in March, 2012.

I have lots of pets living in the house. Two horses (who don’t). Here are the dogs & one cat.
